Frequently Asked Questions

Why trust Raeyco to repair my equipment over other companies?

A commitment to quality, attention to detail, and focus on providing excellent customer service make Raeyco the industry leading choice when it comes to equipment repair.

Contact our sales or customer care team to explain the issue and we will provide a quote. Typically we charge for an initial inspection to diagnose the problem, and if we are able to fix the issue while on-site, we will!

Raeyco technicians have been factory trained by many leading equipment manufacturers. In addition, we have the support of these manufacturers for any complex technical issues. Raeyco technicians have an average of 10 years of experience when it comes to equipment repair, hold bachelor’s and master’s degrees, and are certified biomedical engineers.

Raeyco provides calibration services in BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec, the Atlantic provinces, the Yukon, the Northwest Territories, and Nunavut. Raeyco also provides calibration services in the USA.

Almost anything! Please reach out to our customer care team if you have questions about equipment repairs.

Absolutely!

If you have a piece of equipment that has broken down and is out-of-warranty, you may be wondering if it’s worth fixing or if a replacement is a better option, and like many people, your tendency might be to keep repairing it for much longer than you should. This can end up costing you significant time and money in the long run.

Based on industry standards, the decision to replace or repair an item of equipment considers the cost of the repair compared to the cost of replacement, along with the age of the equipment itself. If the cost of the repair is 50% or less of the cost for replacement, and the equipment life-cycle expiration is 50% or lower of its expected life-cycle, the equipment should be repaired.

Yes! We provide a quote for an “initial inspection” to allow our technicians time on site to diagnose the issue. If we can fix the problem within that time, we will! Otherwise, we will provide a follow up quote with the additional costs for parts and labour.

Regular preventive maintenance and calibration helps instrument uptime, performance, and compliance to meet quality and regulatory standards. Through on-going scheduled maintenance, productivity is improved by reducing the need for “on-demand” service, therefore reducing instrument downtime. Contact us to ask about service contract options!

Yes! All of our repair services are warrantied for 30 days.
